Extension and Re-modelling of the school

We have been involved with Newbridge College for a number of years prior to the decision to go ahead with a major extension and re-modelling. Most of the work was in Junior House but the Senior House was extended with a changing room block and some of the rooms were re-configured as classrooms.
The Junior House extension consisted of classrooms, science rooms, specialist rooms and staff room. A large social space was provided consisting of covering over the courtyard behind Junior House with a glass roof. This provides space for recreation etc. on rainy days.
The remodeling of Junior House included opening up the front door area to provide easier access for the increased number of pupils, installing a lift and re-configuring classrooms and staff quarters.
Completed in March 2007.
