This project was initially conceived as an extension to the existing school. It proved impossible, however, due to the nature of the site and the positioning of the existing building, to extend the school without greatly detracting from the original building, especially in terms of natural light.
The existing school building was demolished and replaced with a new two storey school comprising of 16 classrooms, GP hall, sanitary accommodation, stores, staff areas, and library. The new school design maximises the potential of the school grounds, while careful attention to detail ensured very high quality internal finishes.
Staff and students moved into their new school in April 2014.
