Our clients asked us to design a large contemporary home in the country, which would provide a high-spec living environment for their new family.
Natural light was a driving concept so the house was orientated to allow sun into the bedrooms in the morning and into the living areas all day long.
The house is T-shape in plan to create a private garden to the rear, accessed from the living areas, and a more public front garden viewed from the sitting and dining rooms.
Environmental credentials include a geothermal heating system with high levels of insulation installed throughout.
