The proposed design consisted of a single storey addition to the existing fourth floor of the building. The original fourth floor contains a small dance studio and plant room. The extension expands this floor across the existing roof, providing nine additional en suite bedrooms to the hotel.
The walls are clad in insulated metal panels in a pattern of blues and greys. A strong undulating roofline folds down to form the walls of the vertical circulation.
