We were delighted to be asked by Mothercare to design this new shop, our first project for them. They had bought the long established and well known childcare shop of Kavanagh’s. Behind that shop there was a long yard, with sheds, running back to Limerick Lane.
It was decided that the new shop would have a frontage onto both streets and that it would be two storeys throughout.
The existing shop and sheds were demolished and the new shop constructed which comprises Mothercare retail, Early Learning Centre and Pixie Foto on the ground floor with prams, car seats, storage and ancillary accommodation on the first floor.
The floor area is 900 sq. m.
Completed in 2008.
