Hotel Extension in Killarney

Kerry County Council have decided to grant Planning Permission for this extension to the Victoria House Hotel, Killarney. The proposed works will include a 3 storey extension to the side of the existing hotel to provide a new passenger lift and stairs, reception area, storage rooms, meeting room & accessible W.C.s.
The extension has been designed as a sensitive insertion into the existing setting. The form and massing of the extension has been carefully considered to form a ‘light touch’ connection with the existing rendered façade and roof slope. The flat roofed elements complement the roof pitches and dormer windows that give the existing hotel its unique character.
