Recently Completed – Balbriggan Sports Centre

Balbriggan Sports Centre, which will serve Balbriggan Community College and the wider Balbriggan Community, is now complete and open to the public.
The centre replaces a smaller sports hall and includes a full size basketball court, climbing wall, gym, changing rooms, and meeting rooms.
The building is broken down into increasingly small volumes, from basketball court to entrance hall, allowing the large building to sit more sympathetically in the scale of its residential surroundings. The grey and blue patterned facade of the basketball court reflects the sky, further lessening the building's bulk.
